Greetings Students, Staff and Community,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and welcome you to Gadsden Central Academy. As a native and a product of Gadsden County, I am the Principal of Gadsden Central Academy, Home of the Eagles.

My educational career started when I graduated from Greensboro High School. My teaching career began at Stewart Street Elementary as a fourth grade teacher. While there, my career experiences grew as a Drop Prevention Educator for at-risk fourth and fifth graders. In my third year of teaching, I became Stewart Street Elementary’s Teacher of the Year and one of Gadsden County’s Top Five Finalist for the District’s Teacher of the Year. My guiding force is that all children are capable of learning and being successful when provided the necessary educational equipment, behavior modification, support, and staffing.

Upon graduation, registration at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University led to a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  My education continued at the Rattler den with a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership. Upon completion and rigorous training by the Gadsden School District and the Panhandle Area Educational Consortium, I was certified as school principal by the Florida Department of Education.

I am looking forward to establishing a positive learning environment and relationship with all stakeholders of Gadsden Central Academy as we uphold the district’s motto of Putting Children First”.

Gadsden Central Academy looks forward to serving the students and parents. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the office at 875-7249.
